How does it work?
Smarthinking has systemised the marketing management process.
We start by talking about the current state of your business: what you’re providing, who you’re marketing to,
how many clients you need, what your current level of promotion is, how long it’s been since you’ve edited your collateral and so on. We’d also talk about where you want your business to go: do you want to keep it at the
same level but just outsource your marketing stress? What systems are in place to handle more clients? Do you
want to change your target market or the services you’re providing and if so, how will you change your marketing
to reflect your new positioning?
Then, we’ll talk about POWER Marketing. Agreement will be reached about how to best approach your target audience and how much marketing you really need to do to create the level of success you want. It’ll be clearly evident by this stage which path or plan will be required to get you there.
We’ll work together to select the most suitable service level. This is flexible and can be changed to fit your needs.
For example, if you want to begin with a lot of work but then slow down over time, we can allow for that. On the
other hand, if you already have a good idea of the level of marketing management support required, we can create
a SmartBasket of services to optimise the amount of time or budget you want to commit to.
Let’s get started! Each month, we’ll have a short check-in meeting. At this meeting, you’ll be updated on the overall progress we’ve made together in the last month. You’ll provide further input and the information required to implement the next month’s Action Plan. Marketing Management services are not a substitute for active involvement in your business. There is no such thing as “set and forget”. Business owners must commit to a minimum level of activity to ensure their investment is worthwhile.

Yes we can. It’s a given that your marketing collateral will be much more effective if professionally written.
We will handle writing and content assignments from simple text review/edit/proofread through to major
articles and complete brochure and website content. If a project arises that’s outside the scope of our
in-house capabilities, we’re happy to recommend the best writer for your project.
Printing varies. Costs will alter according to a variety of factors, including number of printed pieces, number of inks used, printing method chosen, and even type of paper stock.
We offer attractive pricing, available from a range of reputable suppliers. We’re happy to provide complete end-to-end estimates, but final quotes aren’t possible until the piece is designed.
Hours do not roll over month-to-month.
Each package requires a commitment of at least 3 months per year. Hours per month are changeable: if you need more hours in a particular month, then that’s available to you. Just let us know before the start of the
new month. Larger packages of hours are available if you need to do a large amount of (e.g) design work
all at once.
A months’ notice is required when terminating the Marketing Management Services agreement.
Months may be spaced out if you need to do periodic promotional activity.
Payment is direct debit monthly in advance by EFT or credit card.
